how our wines turn out. Jeffrey’s vintage summaries are as follows:
Initial indications suggest flavoursome wines will result from the concentrated and intensely flavoured fruit. Volumes, however, are down across the board, in fact, the lowest for decades. Time will tell. There is little doubt there will be some stunningly impressive wines, albeit in record low quantities.
Many years ago, Grosset planted the four estate vineyards each on very specific soil and rock profiles. With every vintage it becomes clearer that these have a unique resilience to changing seasonal conditions. This was not been more obvious than in the 2017 to 2018 season.

2017 was our third consecutive outstanding vintage and made 2017, 2016 and 2015 the best run of seasons we’ve ever experienced. The wines are beautiful expressions of variety, season and site.
