    Clare Valley – 3200 bottles produced

    Here, cooler Clare Valley shiraz is complimented by the inclusion of nero d’avola.  In 2016, there are coal black, brooding, dark berry aromatics that are a touch wild, even untamed. The flavours are of blackberry and black cherry and the wine shows power with restraint, a fleshy almost velvety texture, and firmish tannins which add structure without detracting from its immediate appeal.

    Ageing potential: While we cannot say for sure, our experience strongly suggests it is well suited to ageing; 15-20 years (if you can leave it that long). We suggest enjoy now – 2025 to be safe.
