Grosset Apiana 2018

100% Clare Valley fiano – Only 3,000 bottles produced

Created by combining two fiano clones, this wine appears more alluring with each passing vintage. Grosset’s second release captures the mood and tension of Fiano magnificently, a beautifully exact take on crunchy beurre bosch pear, nashi pear and grapefruit, with wonderful cut that only Grosset can coax out of this variety. It’s refreshing, spicy and very long.  I cannot recall a Fiano I’ve enjoyed this much. 96 Points.
