Pinot Noir

Adelaide Hills
A benchmark, by any standards. – Tyson Stelzer Only 400 Cases

Brilliant in colour and vibrant on the nose, this Pinot Noir captures the Adelaide Hills at its most alluring — varietal intensity balanced by freshness and finesse. Red cherry and raspberry lead a supple, silky palate that finishes with appealing savoury complexity. Generous and food-friendly now — porchetta is an inspired match — yet the structure suggests real cellaring potential for those inclined to wait.

Very bright and youthful looking purple colour of medium depth; the aromas are ultra-fresh and young, with some banana esters still lingering, together with red cherry, raspberry and a hint of violet. Intense and concentrated but also light on its feet, this is a really elegant pinot noir with tremendous penetrating flavour and prodigious palate length. This is still just a baby but should turn out to be a top wine with a bit more time. 2027–2040

I love the brightness, delicacy, accuracyand detail in Jeffrey Grosset's approach to all his wines, and to acheive such fragrant beauty in pinot noir in a season as hot and dry as 2025 makes this a true exemplar of his craft. It transcends both season and region in its wonderfully lifted violet and rose petal perfume, its morello cherry tang and its core of black cherry beauty. A benchmark, by any standards.

A pristine, effortless, silky-textured red of lightweight, sweet and floral fruit character, lithe tannin, citrusy inflection and touches of truffle and sweet earthiness. There's a cherry-pip freshness to the wine, a gentle white-strawberry sweetness and tartness, a cooling lilt of mint and white chocolate with suggestions of sage leaf and bay leaf. An attractive, sumptuous red with pleasure zones hit at every angle.
