Jeffrey Grosset’s wizardry has conjured a SSB that is at once pristine in its floral aromas and primary fruit precision and yet multidimensional in layered complexity. Profound persistence and and undeviating presence are energised by electric acidity. The 25th consecutive release of this equal blend of Clare Valley semillon and Adelaide Hills sauvignon blanc represents just 6,000 bottles. 95 Points.

Very pale colour and fresh bouquet of intense peppermint, lemon sherbet and passionfruit aromas, which translate onto a similarly intense, concentrated palate which is energetic and long. Superior depth of flavour here. An impressive wine now and even better if cellared a few years, I suspect.  5 Stars. 95 Points.
