Grosset Wines has been named Winery of the Year by wine expert Matthew Jukes at the  launch of Jukes ‘Best 100 Australian Wines’ report for 2018/19 at Australia House in London.

The Grosset Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2017 and Grosset Piccadilly Chardonnay 2016 was also listed in Jukes’ Best 100 Australian Wines report.

A total of six Clare Valley wineries were named in the Top 100 including Grosset, Wakefield (Taylors), Mount Horrocks, Pikes, clos Clare and Jim Barry.

Jeffrey Grosset said he was shocked when Jukes announced the award.

“I was there to show support for the event and to taste the Top 100 wines. I had no idea about this before it was announced on the night. It’s a wonderful acknowledgement of our region and of Grosset Wines in particular”
