James Halliday  writes in his Australian Wine Companion October 2008 Newsletter continued......
Grosset’s pre-eminence in riesling-making is recognised both domestically and internationally; however, he merits equal recognition for the other wines in his portfolio: Semillon Sauvignon Blanc from Clare Valley/Adelaide Hills; Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Adelaide Hills; and Gaia, the Bordeaux blend from the Clare Valley. These are all benchmarks. His quietly spoken manner conceals a steely will, exemplified by his long and ultimately successful battle to prevent the use of 'riesling' on flagons and bottles as a generic description, rather than varietal, and his subsequent success in having the Clare Valley riesling makers migrate en masse to screwcaps, unleashing a torrent of change across Australia. Exports to all major markets.
